Class Details:

Discover the peaceful practice of plein air, or outdoor, landscape painting! In this class, you’ll learn the basics of plein air and techniques and tricks for creating intriguing compositions, simplifying your designs, and setting realistic time limits. The natural beauty of Fernwood’s gardens and grounds will act as your subject matter and if you're looking for even more inspiration, be sure to check out the Indiana Plein Air Painters exhibition in our Visitors Center gallery!

Please bring your paint medium of choice and an easel or support for your work.
