Want to make your yard into a refuge for birds and other wildlife? Join bird and tree experts, Dana McCoskey and Vincent Verweij to learn about how gardening with native plants and selecting the right tree species can help support resident and migratory birds and wildlife communities. A short lecture will cover some key tree species and types of garden spaces to include in your yard for maximum benefit to attract and support birds. We will then head outside to identify trees and birds on the Fernwood nature trails. Bring your binoculars and hiking shoes!
